"Thank you to United Way of NWA for helping provide Northwest Arkansas families with unique, fun, and engaging experiences!"

Partnership with The Jones Center for Families:

The Jones Center in Springdale offers members up to 80 educational, fitness and recreation programs for all ages. The support of United Way of Northwest Arkansas helps make possible the Membership & Youth Activity Scholarship Program, reducing the cost of annual memberships and youth camps/classes to a one-time $10 application fee.

The Jones Center for Families' Comprehensive Membership & Youth Activity Scholarship Program provides access to the facility and our programs at no cost to qualifying individuals and families. United Way funding toward this program supports Youth Activity Scholarships for hockey, figure skating, dance, gymnastics, basketball camp, tae kwon do, judo and many others.

Scholarship awardees are selected based on whether the family applying currently receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Disability, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA), Free/Reduced Lunch (FRL), AR Kids, Child Support or Unemployment Benefits.

“When I called needing help to get back on my feet, they were there to listen to me. They took the time for me and helped counsel me on the next steps. I was told where I could find resources and support. It made me feel comfortable and confident." — Octavia, Arkansas 211 caller

Whether you want to give or get help, Arkansas 211 is the free, confidential, 24-hour-a-day, multilingual way to connect individuals and families to critical local resources.
